My birth doula services include, but are not limited to:

  • Free initial interview
  • 2-3 prenatal visits
  • Assistance in writing your birth plan
  • Available 24 hours a day for phone support and consultation
  • On call for your birth,  often joining you at your home before going to your designated place of birth
  • Continuous support for the mother and her partner during active labor, birth, and delivery

  • Labor techniques to include, but are not limited to Position changes, relaxation, verbal encouragement, massage, birth ball, rebozo, etc.
  • Immediate postpartum assistance to help facilitate bonding and breastfeeding that takes place immediately after birth
  • 1-2 postpartum visits to reflect on your birth and to help you connect with additional resources following delivery
  • Help the mother to feel connected to her birth experience following delivery

Childbirth Education Course [In-Home]

Childbirth Education is vital to a happy and healthy pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I come to you and your partner and over the course of about 2-3 hours and light refreshments we explore:

  • Healthy Lifestyle and Reproduction
  • The Labor Process
  • Coping Skills for Labor
  • Transition and Birth
  • Complications, Intervations, and Unexpected Outcomes
  • Postpartum and Newborn Care

I’m Going to Be A Big Sister/Brother Class

This one-hour class for children ages 2 to 10 uses lifelike newborn dolls to help explain the birth and appearance of the new baby. The children will enjoy an art project to welcome the new baby. When you register I’ll provide the list of supplies for our virtual craft and send you our free coloring sheets.

Placenta Encapsulation

Your placenta is dehydrated, ground up, and encapsulated. There is a 24-hour to 72-hour turnaround time for your capsules.
