HEartbeats

Heartbeats is an enriching, one-day childbirth education class. Our aim is to empower women with knowledge and information about their bodies and birthing experience. Throughout the classes we focus on the big picture attitudes of birth: our program will help you to set realistic goals for mind, body and baby; discover common myths associated with pregnancy and birth; learn relaxation techniques; manage pain relief options during labor; understand what happens during a vaginal birth, cesarean birth or a natural unmedicated breech vaginal delivery. We encourage you to join us in all or part of Heartbeats.

Virtual Postpartum Mama Support Group (Wednesday 6:00 pm in Montgomery, AL)

This class is designed specifically for mamas! This support group meets once per week to help you get out of the house and around other adults who understand where you are. You will find a relaxed atmosphere at our sessions.

This group is for anyone struggling with the challenges and mood changes that you may be feeling while trying to get pregnant, pregnancy and/or after birth. You will find a relaxed and welcoming environment during the session for discussing these unexpected feelings. Some women in the group may have a diagnosis of prenatal or postpartum anxiety or depression while others may just find the challenges of motherhood different than expected.

You are welcome to come with or without your baby! Breastfeeding is also welcomed and encouraged. Siblings welcome.
